Explore nature cozied up with a good book at Environmental Literature Club. Join a discussion with naturalist Rebekah Beall at 7:00 p.m. on January 25, February 22, and March 29. Location (in Ames) TBD. Each month we will discuss a different book focused on the human relationship with the environment: Lab Girl by Hope Jahren (Jan), What Do We Know by Mary Oliver (Feb), and The Overstory by Richard Powers (Mar). Free but registration required by January 10. Participants are responsible for locating their own books.
Environmental literature is going back on Zoom this year with all the uncertainty and continued difficulty of finding available locations. The link will be emailed to registered participants the week before the event.
This is an ongoing event so registration for the event is good for all three sessions.
