Description
The Bremer County Conservation Board is looking for dependable, responsible, and friendly hosts to welcome park users and answer questions they may have. The hosts will also be required to check and clean shower buildings and pit toilets to ensure cleanliness for park users. Potentially 4 hosts are needed, 1 at each campground throughout the county. Parks are located near the cities of Waverly, Plainfield, Frederika, and Sumner. Camping season runs from May 1 thru October 31. Hosts will not be required to commit to the whole season, and time frame can be discussed. A campsite will be provided. Please call or email for more information.
Qualifications
This is a volunteer position which will require a background check. The ideal host will be friendly, approachable, respectful, a model camper, and willing to spend time in the park interacting with guests and ensuring cleanliness of shower building.
