Seasonal Park Worker

The Allamakee County Conservation Board is currently taking applications for temporary part-time summer positions.   

The positions will range between 12-14 weeks during the summer months and will average 40 hours per week. The positions may include some evenings and weekends. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, operating mowing equipment, chainsaws, power tools, light construction, and general park maintenance. Past experience in grounds maintenance or construction work is helpful. Persons pursuing an education in a natural resource field are encouraged to apply.  

Qualifications are being 18 years of age, possessing a valid Iowa Driver’s License, and being eligible for coverage under the County Motor Vehicle Policy.
