Campground Host Summer 2023

This is a stipend position for the camping season, on a bi-weekly basis.

For the 2023 camping year (approximately second weekend in April through second week in October), the Campground Host will have the following responsibilities at the parks: monitor campground registrations, providing general customer service to campers, sell firewood, complete necessary documentation, collecting litter around campground, general cleaning duties, restroom/shower house cleaning, and other responsibilities as requested.

This position provides a designated campsite at no charge while doing work as Campground Host.

Background check required.

SALARY: Up-to $100/pay period.

Rodgers Park, Vinton, IA

• Provided at site: concrete pad, water, electric, next to shower house, no sewer hook-up

Hannen Lake Park, Blairstown, IA

•  Provided at site: concrete pad, water, electric, sewer

Hoefle-Dulin Recreation Area, Vinton, IA

• Provided at site: grassed site, electric, no water or sewer, next to pit toilet
