Seasonal Park Ranger

Job Description:
Seasonal, full-time position under the supervision of the Clayton County Conservation Board
Director. Assist with maintenance and development of county parks, as well as public relations at campgrounds. Job duties include mowing, trash removal, pit toilet upkeep, care of live animals, law enforcement of rules and regulations at county parks and campgrounds, and other duties as required. 40 hours per week. Will include some weekend work.  Physically demanding position. Applicants will work a full day in extreme temperatures.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have interest in conservation management and criminal justice. Experience operating mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and other equipment would be beneficial. Must be at least 18 years old. Pre-employment physical and drug testing required. 

Salary and Work Dates:
$10.00 per hour, 40 hours per week. Positions begin in May/June and will run 10 weeks.
