Natural Resources Manager

Job Description: Under general supervision, performs diverse tasks associated with the development and maintenance of the Dallas County trail system; operates construction and maintenance equipment; performs allied duties and other assigned general park constructions, maintenance, and repair work.  Performs a variety of natural resources management tasks.

Job Duties:  Perform diverse tasks associated with the development and maintenance of the county's trail system construction, maintenance and repair of various facilities including roads, buildings, utilities, grounds, etc. Operate various types of construction and maintenance equipment, specialized equipment, and power and hand tools in a safe and efficient manner; service equipment and make minor repairs and adjustments; participate in general labor tasks as assigned; perform various forestry, prairie, and natural resource management activities; other duties as assigned.
