Description
Performs diverse tasks
associated with the maintenance of the county's parks, trails, recreation,
cultural, historical and wildlife management areas for the Dallas County
Conservation Board. Performs park maintenance and janitorial services to park
grounds and facilities; operates and maintains park equipment; may be assigned
supervisory responsibilities of other seasonal staff; and other duties as
assigned. Work schedule will include weekend hours as assigned.
This position
will be based out of the south unit at Kuehn Conservation Area near Earlham.
Job
Duties: Assist visitors
with information, and park regulations; Open, close and inspect park areas as specified; prepare and post shelters for reservations; park maintenance and janitorial services to
shelters and park grounds; operate and maintain maintenance equipment. Other duties as assigned. Approximately 6 month positions

Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
OR one to three months related experience and/or training
OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
