Cabin Cleaner

Illustrative Examples of Duties:

1. Performs cleaning, custodial care, washing and sanitizing dish ware, and laundering/changing bedding between cabin rental reservations.
2. Cleans fire-rings and outside gas grills, stocks firewood, picks up litter, and hauls waste.
3. Replenishes custodial cleaning supplies, restroom supplies, and other stocked items in cabins.
4. Replaces light bulbs, washes windows, and performs deep/detailed cleaning as needed.
5. May operate leaf blowers and/or garden hose to clean outside decks and walkways.
6. Checks for safety concerns, repairs, and addresses as needed or reports to a Maintenance Technician.
7. Completes daily work logs and other forms as necessary.
8. Performs related duties as required.

Training and Experience:

• Graduation from high school or equivalent, or
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience that will have provided the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Special Requirement:

• A criminal background check is required. 
• A drug screen is required.
• A valid State of Iowa driver’s license is required.
