Description
DESCRIPTION: Permanent, full-time
position. Supervises and participates in maintenance work and
improvements of park facilities. Provides for safety of county area
users. Collects fees, keeps records, requisitions supplies, general
maintenance of equipment, and assist in supervising and training of
employees. Enforce park regulations through consultation, citation,
arrest, or by other means as outlined in the LCCB policy. Adhere to
agency policy in the performance of job related duties. Perform various
other duties within the scope of responsibility and authority under the
direction of the Executive Director. 40 hours/week with overtime given as
comp-time (non-routine week as scheduled by Executive Director). Rotating Weekends throughout the summer, with assistance from summer interns. Sunday-Thursdays, no evening work through the summer.
SALARY: $43,000-$49,500 with housing provided,
uniform allowance, and standard county benefits.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from and accredited 4-year college with a degree in natural resources or closely related field. Must be able to meet Iowa Law Enforcement Academy physical standards or already certified by ILEA. Valid Iowa Drivers License
