Naturalist Lunch Box is held at 12:00 PM on selected Fridays
in the summer at South Cove Park. Pack a lunch and join the fun! Naturalist
Lunch Box is designed for all ages. The naturalist will present a short program
on a selected topic and have hands on activities for younger audience members.
Friday, July 19th
at 12:00 PM will be the sixth Naturalist Lunchbox program of the year. The
topic for this week is cats of Iowa. The naturalist will discuss the different
species of felines in Iowa such as bobcats and mountain lions.
South Cove Park
is located along the south shore of Storm Lake at 125 Stoney Point Road, Storm
Lake. If you plan on attending, please let the Conservation Office know by
Wednesday, July 17th by calling 712-295-7985.
This program can be
cancelled due to lack of participants or inclement weather.
