Hetland Pioneer Cemetery Walk

Enjoy a relaxing evening with the Hamilton County Cemetery Preservation Society and learn about some of the pioneers of Hamilton County. We will walk through the cemetery together and learn some about the people buried there. Visitors can learn some about grave stone repairs and how to find a possible unmarked gravesite. This program may especially interest people who enjoy studying family genealogy.

The cemetery is located SE of Ellsworth, Iowa.

From the North: Take HWY 175 East of Ellsworth to Young Ave. Turn South on Young Ave.to 350th Street. Turn East on 350th Street. Turn East on 350th Street to the cemetery (About 1/2 mile). The cemetery is on the South side of the road.

From the South: Take D65 East of Randall to Young Ave. Turn North on Young Ave. to 350th Street. Turn East on 350th Street to the cemetery (About 1/2 mile). The cemetery is on the South side of the road.
