We have TWO exciting events about to occur here at Ida County Conservation.
What: Annual Conservation Christmas AND Cool Trees Warm Clothes Donation Drive
When: December 3rd from 10:00am - 12:00pm
Where: Moorehead Pioneer Park Conservation Center
On December 3rd, from 10am to 12pm, we are hosting our annual Conservation Christmas. During this time, there will be cookie decorating, holiday craft making, STEM activities, and lots of sweet treats to eat. In addition, we will have some great photo opportunities, including a life-size Santa Sleigh! This event is put together with the help of ISU extension, so be sure to thank them if you get a chance.
After the event, take a minute to observe the trees decorated along the gravel road, just east of the Center. These festive trees were decorated by members of the community. If you wish to decorate a tree for yourself, before the event, please contact Danielle, by November 28th, via email (idacountynaturalist@gmail.com) or telephone (712-364-3300) to register.
We are asking all visitors to please bring a donation of either winter clothing or non-perishable food items.
