We are going to explore McNeil Nature Preserve on Thursday, July 13. Meet at 8:30 AM at the fairgrounds in Maquoketa to carpool/caravan to park.
We will explore McNeil Nature Preserve and if time Papke Wildlife Area.
Visit Jackson County Parks with Friends of Jackson County Conservation Members Pam True & Mary Hayward on the second Thursday of the month, May through October. We are going to explore some of the parks, preserves, and public areas of Jackson County by foot.
Please bring water and lunch, in case we find a place for a picnic.
Locations TBD a couple weeks beforehand. We intend to visit all over Jackson County through the summer and fall.
