Night Hike Luminary Walk and Bonfire

Come get in the Halloween spirit and learn about what goes bump in the night. No we are not talking about ghost and goblins we are talking about nocturnal animals! Join a Jackson County Conservation Naturalist at Prairie Creek Recreation Area 1215 east summit St. Maquoketa IA, on Saturday October 17th at 6:30 pm for a night hike through Prairie Creek where we will learn about the nocturnal animals of or area. Luminaries will light our path as we walk. Following the night hike participants are invited to warm themselves by a bonfire! All ages welcome.

Registration is Required. Call Jackson County Conservation at (563) 652-3783 or email tony@jacksonccb.com for information or to register. Registration is required 48 hours before event. Participants are asked to participate in social distancing efforts. Face masks are encouraged.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.
