Nocturnal Pammel

Turn up your senses for explorations at Pammel Park IN THE DARK. Naturalist Amy will teach campers to become keen nocturnal nature navigators. Themes will focus on the special adaptations of our most mysterious nighttime creatures like bats, racoons, owls, and....big foot. (Parents Note: Those discussions will be "hairy not scary").

Special Help from local bat researcher, Drake Professor and Madison County Conservation Volunteer, Bridie Nixon, and from campfire cooking enthusiast and MCCB volunteer, Ky Schmitt. Snacks will be made using Dutch ovens and pie irons over the campfire.
