Summer Day Camp - Survival Series #2 (10-13 years old)
Lake Iowa Park, Iowa County
Thursday, July 25, 2024
ICC is offering
in-person outdoor summer camps where your children will explore and learn about
nature.
The topic for this day camp is Outdoor Survival Skills. Participants will take some of the skills you have learned from survival series #1 and apply them in real time. The day will include using your previous knowledge to forage for material that will best fit to make a fishing pole out of all natural materials. We will spend most of the time using that tool to fish at Lake Iowa Pond that day. This summer day camp
is for 10-13 yr olds.
Camps are FREE, and made possible by the
Friends of Iowa County Conservation Foundation. A limited number of spots are
available, and registration is required.
After registration on
this website is complete, a Iowa County Conservation Health and Consent
Form (see link in this camp listing) must be downloaded and sent
to: Iowa County Conservation, ATTN: Summer Camp, 2550 G Avenue, Ladora,
