Heron Marsh Youth Hunting Area



Heron Marsh is a 45 acre youth hunting area. This area features a 3 acre wetland surrounded by rolling hills of native grasses and timber. As a youth hunting area, Heron Marsh offers young hunters the opportunity to hone their skills while under the guidance of an accompanying adult. The area is open to any youth 16 years and younger, and accompanied by a licensed adult. Adults are not permitted to carry or be in possession of a firearm while in Heron Marsh. 

A PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS AREA.

Features

Heron Marsh features two handicapped accessible hunting blinds. A deer/wild turkey blind is located near a food plot on the east side of the area. A waterfowl hunting blind is situated in the northeast area of the wetland.

This area is open during the appropriate hunting seasons.
