The Dickson Timber Shelter house is a stone shelter that is available at a first-come, first serve basis, if it has not already been reserved. To reserve the shelter house contact the Carroll County Conservation office at (712) 792-4614 or email office@carrollcountyiowa.org.
The shelter has a maximum capacity of 60 people with picnic tables inside the shelter. This shelter is not heated.

With a $50.00 refundable damage deposit
Non-profit rates available
5:30am until 10:30pm
Carroll County Conservation Parks close at 10:30pm, if you are not registered to camp at Dickson Timber you must exit the park before 10:30pm.
