Chickasaw

Chickasaw County acquired this area in 1989 from Spencer Johnson.  Chickasaw County Pheasants Forever and the Izaak Walton League provided financial assistance to acquire this wildlife area.  The property has some reestablished native grasslands and some woody vegetation.  A small creek flows through the area. Hunting is allowed.

1 mile north of Jerico at 2502 110th Street, Section 26, T97N, R12W

Good upland habitat, parking lot

Operating Hours & Seasons

Open year round - visitors must leave by 10:30 p.m.

Hunters must be aware of the 200 yard rule when hunting with firearms.
