Gilman G White Conservation Area
This 218 acre wildlife refuge is located 4 miles SE of Colwell.
The Gilman G White Conservation Area was donated by Gil and Donna White for the introduction of youth to hunting as well as preserving habitat through conservation practices.

Located 10 miles east of Charles City and 4 miles SE of Colwell.
Features
200 acres of newly restored prairie in 2016.
