Bill and Vesta Dixon Wildlife Area


The Bill and Vesta Dixon Wildlife Area is a 20 acre area that has East Buttrick Creek running through the length of it.  The area is predominately forested.  Located within the city limits of Paton, no firearms are allowed and only archery deer hunting is legal.  Future plans might include a hiking trail that could include a bridge to span East Buttrick Creek.

Location

The Bill and Vesta Dixon Wildlife Area is located 0.4 miles east of Paton at the intersection of 130th Street and Highway 144.

Features

Features include 1/4 mile of East Buttrick Creek and a variety of floodplain species of trees.
