Composting is nature's way of recycling yard waste and food scraps. Learn the basics of backyard composting, vermicomposting (using worms), and tips to make it easy. We’ll learn to compost with worms and assemble your very own small vermicomposting bin to take home and start composting right away. Worms use food scraps and other organic materials to create rich compost “gold” that can be used in gardens and on house plants. All supplies and worms included. This is a great family project - one registration per household. Cost $20/family.
