This beautiful 130-acre are is used primarily for field trips and public programs. 

It is also available to rent for weddings, youth group camp-outs, reunions, birthday parties or just a quiet place to hang out with friends and family for a few days.  View a short 1-minute video about Langwood!

Groups can take advantage of the Langwood Ropes Challenge Course to improve their communication and teamwork!

Langwood is open by reservation only or for public programs.

Location

Langwood is located three miles Southeast of Grandview, Iowa. To get there, use exit 74 on HWY 61 at Grandview.  Follow the directional signs from the intersection of HWY 92 and HWY 61. From the Highway, you will drive into the City of Grandview.  Go all the way through town (heading east) until you reach the "T" intersection. Take a right (south) then immediate left (east). That road will turn to gravel. Follow it for about 3-miles until you see the big brown, "Langwood Education Center" sign on the right side of the road.

Operating Hours & Seasons

Open by Reservation Only or public programs.

Water is turned off from mid-October through mid-April each year.

All sales are final, refunds will not be given for cancellations. Rain checks for up to one-year may be given in cases of extreme inclement weather.
