Camp participants will spend time discovering all the things that can be found in different levels of the natural world including the water, soil, and air. We will learn about the things that swim in Middle River and explore Pammel Park.

Jun 11-13 Tuesday 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM Chipmunk Camp (Ages 6-9)
Participants will learn about the things animals need to survive and will interact with the animals that live inside the Pammel Park Nature Center.

Jun 14 Friday 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM Tadpole Camp (Ages 3-5)
3 camp sessions included - June 14, July 12, Aug 2 During this 3-day camp we will learn all about the animals that surround us, what the animals need to survive, and how we are similar to animals.

Jun 18-20 Tuesday 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Kestrel Camp (Ages 8-12)
During this 3-day adventure, camp participants will learn about the animals that call the nature center home and discover what different animals need to survive.

Jun 24-26 Monday 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM Night Owls Camp Session 1 (Ages 8-12)
We will be exploring Pammel Park at night and discovering all of the wonderful creatures that make the night come alive including owls, bats, and raccoons.

Jul 9-11 Tuesday 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Outdoor Adventures (Ages 10-15)
This camp will focus on developing hands on wilderness skills. During this 3-day adventure we will discuss different fishing methods, learn how to pack backpacks, practice setting up a campsite, and more.

Jul 15 Monday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM A Day in the Park (Ages 7-12)
This 1 day camp will feature hands on activities inside Pammel Park. Campers will begin the day with a lesson on the park’s resident wildlife and leave no trace before heading outside to explore the park.

Jul 24-26 Wednesday 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Water Rocks (Ages 9-12)
Back by popular demand, this camp will feature all things aquatic from bullfrogs to people. Using ISU’s Water Rocks! curriculum, camp participants will learn about watersheds, wetlands, and the critters that live in them.
