Community Campfire

McFarland Park, Story County

Friday, April 23, 2021

Evening is our time to wind down and reconnect. Campfires have been bringing people together for centuries, and the feeling of togetherness has never been more important. These fires symbolize a community gathering place where folks are able to share experiences and knowledge. Join us as we tell stories, sing songs, and build connections. Come celebrate the end of the day. You are welcome to stay after the event and enjoy the night! This program will be canceled in the event of inclement weather.

Our top priority has been and will continue to be the health and well-being of the public and the staff. In response to the ongoing development of COVID-19, Story County Conservation programs will adhere to social distancing, smaller group size, increased sanitation and face coverings mandatory when social distancing is not possible or while indoors. Pre-registration will be required when group size needs to be limited due to the facility or location.
