Arrowhead Park

Pottawattamie Conservation Parks are open for day use & camping without restrictions at this time. Pottawattamie Conservation is taking extra steps to maintain safety for our visitors including increased cleaning of public restrooms, indoor facilities, & cabins, providing hand sanitizer in high use areas for our visitors, & adjusting our public programming offerings.  

We remind our visitors that COVID-19 is present in our communities & ask that all park visitors please maintain appropriate social distancing at all times, wash hands frequently, & recommend wearing a mask when visiting indoor spaces at your county parks. Please limit your groups to 10 or fewer individuals when visiting indoor spaces & please obey all posted signage in your county parks.  

Paddleboat & canoe rentals at Arrowhead Park are currently unavailable.

This 147-acre park includes a fishing pond encircled in wooded acres providing hiking, trails and wildlife.  The 17-acre fishing pond is filled with Bluegill, Bass and Catfish.  Visitors are invited to fish from shore, off the equal access fishing dock or from a boat.

Arrowhead Park is located just off at I-80 exit #23, left on L55 one mile to park entrance.  Park is 20 minutes from Omaha, NE and Council Bluffs metro area.

Operating Hours & Seasons

Park is open all year 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Park Admission:  $3.00 per vehicle per day or purchase a 12 month membership starting at $20.00
