Mt. Crescent Ski Area


Mt. Crescent Ski Area is a 106-acre property tucked away in Iowa's Loess Hills offering skiing, snowboarding, and sledding and is a part of Hitchcock Nature Center, a 1,500-acre nature preserve.

Location

Nestled in the heart of Iowa's globally significant Loess Hills, Hitchcock Nature Center offers nearly 1,500 acres of publicly available prairie, savanna, and woodlands for low-impact recreation and camping.

Operating Hours & Seasons

Mt. Crescent is not yet accessible for public recreation outside of the winter ski/snowboard season.

The winter ski season generally runs from mid-to-late December through March.
