Coyote Bend Wildlife Management Area is 26.56 acres and comprised of grassland, food plot and immature black walnut and white pine tree planting. Public hunting is allowed. Hunters can find pheasant, deer, rabbit, partridge and yes, even coyotes.  

Hunters are required to use, and can possess, only non-toxic shot while hunting migratory game birds, resident game birds, game animals or furbearers (excluding deer and wild turkey) on all land owned or managed by the Hamilton County Conservation Board.

This area has a butterfly planting, as it is in the migration path of Monarchs.



Location

The area is located 2.5 miles southeast of Blairsburg at 2323 Tollman Avenue. Go 1.5 miles west of interstate 35 on highway 928 and turn south on Tollman Ave. for about 1.25 miles. This area is located on the west side of the road.
