Boddy-Hunt Wildlife Area
This wildlife area sits on 50 acres of wonderful wetland and timber. This land is also open to the public for hunting. At one time, this area was used as a rifle and handgun range as well as a trap shooting range. In 1981 this was discontinued and the area was allowed to return to a natural area.
Location
The wildlife area is located on the east side of Hwy 65 on the south edge of Iowa Falls, just across the road from Logsdon Park.
Features
In 1999 a colony of beavers constructed a dam on the west side of the property which resulted in the creation a natural wetland in this area. The property is also home and location of 50 acres of standing timber.
