The Lodge 7 - Elk
Perched above the lake with stunning views, the Lodge offers the perfect blend of modern comfort and natural beauty. This spacious getaway features a fully stocked kitchen, cozy fireplace, and open living area designed for gatherings. With multiple bedrooms, a loft for the kids, and a walk-out basement with extra space, it’s ideal for families, reunions, or group retreats. Step outside to enjoy the deck, firepit, picnic area, and grill—or simply relax and take in the peaceful surroundings.
Reservations for all cabins can be made online and can be booked up to two years in advance. A two-night minimum stay is required on weekends, with Friday and Saturday nights booked together. Plan ahead to secure your preferred dates and enjoy a relaxing stay in Audubon County's great outdoors.

Location From Littlefield Drive (County Road F58) turn south onto Pheasant Place Drive. Drive to the third road, right before it turns into gravel, turn East (left) onto Littlefield Park Road. Drive half a mile (past Campground A) to the cabin entrance. The Elk Lodge is the first cabin on the right-hand side of the road.

The main level welcomes you with an open floor plan, featuring a fully stocked kitchen and a large dining table ready to seat eight for shared meals and laughter. A cozy fireplace anchors the living area, while the spacious deck invites you to unwind with stunning views of the campground and lake below. Two main-level bedrooms, each with a queen bed, provide restful retreats after a day outdoors, and a full bathroom completes this level for convenience.
Upstairs, a charming loft offers four twin beds and ample space for kids to play or for families to spread out. The walk-out basement extends your living space with a comfortable family room, a bedroom featuring two queen beds, and another full bathroom—perfect for larger groups. Linens are not provided.
Step outside to enjoy the fresh air around your private firepit, gather for a picnic, or grill up a meal on the charcoal grill. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee on the deck, telling stories by the fire, or watching the sunset over the lake, the Lodge provides a welcoming setting for making memories in every season.
Please note: Cabins are open seasonally and not available year-round. Be sure to plan your stay during our operating months to enjoy everything this cabin — and Audubon County — has to offer.
Fees
Cabins and the lodge may be reserved online up to two (2) years in advance. Rentals are seasonal only, available from April 1 through November 30. Facilities are not available year-round. All cabin reservations must include Friday and Saturday nights together. A three-night minimum stay is required for all holidays, except Thanksgiving, which requires a four-night minimum stay. Reservations must be made at least five (5) days before arrival. For reservations within the five-day window, please contact the business office at 712-268-2762 to check availability and make arrangements. An additional $4 processing fee per facility will be added at checkout.
No refunds are given for any reason. In accordance with the ACCB Rules and Regulations, cancellation of a reservation will result in forfeiture of 100% of all reservation fees paid.
Please notify the Park Office of all cancellations. If the office is contacted at least seven (7) days before arrival, reservation dates may be changed one time only, subject to availability.
Cabin rates:
2026 season - $140 per night
2027 season - $150 per night
2028 season - $165 per night
Lodge rates:
2026 season - $260 per night
2027 season - $270 per night
2028 season - $300 per night
Audubon County Conservation allows pets only in Cabins 3 and 4 with a non-refundable pet fee of $25 per night.
• A $100 per day penalty will be assessed if pets are found in non-pet-friendly cabins or if the pet fee was not prepaid.
• Any damage caused by a pet will result in additional charges of $100 or more, billed to the reservation holder.
• Pets must be tethered or kenneled at all times.
• Pets may not be left unattended inside or outside the cabin.
• Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
