Falls Access

Falls Access is composed of 296 acres of flood plain forest and is owned by the state but managed by Black Hawk County Conservation.  The area provides excellent habitat for anyone interested in hunting white tailed deer, turkey, and squirrel and also gives people interested in bird watching the opportunity to encounter a wide variety of woodland bird species.  Falls Access is located within the Black Hawk Park complex, it provides access to the Cedar River and an important part of the Cedar River Greenbelt.

Park boundaries may not be clearly marked in all locations within the park so please be aware of park boundaries and respect private property.

The access point is found at the corner of Beaver Valley Rd. and Union Rd. across from the Beaver Valley Wetland north of Cedar Falls.
