Event Summary

Take a break from the hustle and bustle and join us for Cozy Relaxing Camp, where kids can unwind, get creative, and enjoy peaceful activities in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. 💖🌟

Activities Include:

📒 Nature Journaling: Explore the beauty of the outdoors and capture it in your very own nature journal.

🧘‍♀️ Yoga: Stretch, breathe, and relax with beginner-friendly yoga sessions in a calm setting.

🎨 Painting Tote Bags: Design and paint your own reusable tote bag—perfect for carrying all your treasures!🧶 Crochet: Learn the basics of crochet and make something special to take home.

💞 Friendship Bracelets: Create colorful bracelets to share with friends old and new.

What to Bring: Comfortable clothing, sturdy shoes, water bottle, hat and gloves, a lunch. 

Ages:10-16

Cost: $40 dollars. This covers all program costs, and no walk ins will be accepted. Participants will need to pack their own lunch for the day.  

Program Policies: All registrations must be done online, and no walk-ins will be accepted. If you need assistance in registering for programs online, please call the nature center 319-277-2187, and we will help you. Prior to the program, registration materials and waiver must be completed for each participant and turned into the nature center. These materials can be emailed to gcallaway@blackhawkcounty.iowa.gov or sent to 657 Reserve Drive Cedar Falls, Iowa 50613.Children can be dropped off starting 10 minutes prior to the start of the program and must be picked up with 15 minutes after the end of the program. If a child needs to be dropped off/picked up earlier/later, please contact Megan at mhamm@blackhawkcounty.iowa.gov.

Refund Policy: Refunds will only be given in the case of a documented medical emergency or funeral for programs more than $10. If program cost is under $10, a program voucher will be offered for a future program. If a program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen reasons, then a similar program will be offered in its place.
