📍 Location: Big Woods Lake – North Entrance (meet at the boat ramp)

Cost: $10

Join us for a magical evening on the water as we celebrate the season with our very first Witch Float! Come dressed in your best witchy or Halloween-inspired costume and take to the water for a spooky-fun float. The best costume will win a special prize! Bring your own boat, kayak, or paddleboard—or use one of ours (limited availability). ✨ Details: Meet in the north entrance parking lot by the boat ramp, and participants must fill out the wavier before kayaking. Costumes are encouraged (witch hats, capes, spooky flair!). Enjoy the glow of sunset on the water with fellow witches and warlocks. Spots may be limited, so don’t miss this enchanted night!

Program Policies: All registrations must be done online and no walk-ins will be accepted. If you need assistance in registering for programs online, please call the nature center 319-277-2187, and we will help you. 

Refund Policy: Refunds will only be given in the case of a documented medical emergency or funeral for programs more than $10. If program cost is under $10, a program voucher will be offered for a future program. If a program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen reasons, then a similar program will be offered in its place.
