Nestling Naturalists: Maple Syrup

Event Summary
Nestling Naturalists is an interactive program designed to teach children (ages 0-4+) about nature through stories and related activities.
This March, we will be learning all about maple syrup! Following storytime, we will go on a guided sensory hike to learn about how sap becomes syrup, including a tasting of Hartman's homemade maple syrup! Books selected include:
- Sugar Snow by Laura Ingalls Wilder
- Almost Time by Gary D. Schmidt & Elizabeth Stickney
- Sugarbush Spring by Marsha Wilson Chall
Registration costs $5 per family.
Refund Policy: Refunds will only be given in the case of a documented medical emergency or funeral for programs more than $10. If program cost is under $10, a program voucher will be offered for a future program. If a program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen reasons, then a similar program will be offered in its place.
