Discover Grant's Woods in Madrid

This 28 acre property was graciously donated to Boone County Conservation in 2013. There is a rock trail that goes from the parking lot to the High Trestle Trail. You can walk or ride your bike on this rock trail, however, bicyclists should use caution as there are some steep hills. 

Currently there is a wildlife viewing blind, popular for birding, near the parking lot. There is a 14 acre prairie reconstruction underway as well.

The parking lot is large and good for group biking to the High Trestle Trail bridge. Additionally, there is a modern ADA restroom for men and women.
