Lace up those hiking boots, grab your favorite bird guide, and have your binoculars on hand. Because we’re going birding!

Join a Naturalist for a series of fall birding hikes around the county. Will go over birding basics, discuss what birds will be spotted, and then hit the trails. Bird watching is for everyone, and it helps build community connection! So, no matter your experience or age these hikes are for all to enjoy.

Fontana Park is south of Hazelton. It is abundant with many different species of birds. Eagles, Ospreys, Waterfowl, Song Birds, and more. The park has many of different wildlife observation stations, habitats, and trails to watch our feathered friends.
