Rental Contract Agreement Statement
I agree to be responsible for any damages done to BCCB property during the stay by myself or my guests. I agree the Board may apply an additional fee to wholly or partially satisfy any damages caused by members of said group, while using the facilities. Failure to clean up the facility and surrounding area may also result in additional charges.
I further agree to accept the responsibilities stated in the Shelter Rules and Policies stated below, and to abide by all state, county, and BCCB rules and regulations. Failure to comply with any shelter or park rules may result in fines, forfeiture of fees, and suspension of park privileges.
Chapel Area Rules: Check-In Time: As Per Reservation Form Check-Out Time: As Per Reservation Form
- Maximum number of occupants is 50.
- Maximum length of stay is one day.
- Minimum age to reserve a shelter is 18 years of age. No minors may be left unattended.
- All county and state park rules and regulations apply.
- Park closing is 10:30 p.m. This includes the Shelter
- All trash must be in the receptacles near Chapel Area, or taken with you.
- All pets must be on a leash and all pet waste must be picked up and placed in a garbage can.
- BCCB staff reserves the right to enter the Chapel Area for maintenance or security problems.
- Notify BCCB staff immediately upon check-in about any equipment/furnishings that appear damaged or not working.
CHECKOUT RULES – UPON CHECK OUT, USERS MUST
- Trash must be in the receptacles or taken with you.
ITEMS TO BRING:
Extra trash bags and cleaning supplies for check-out cleaning.
LIABILITY AND LEGAL RECOURSE
The person purchasing this reservation is responsible for any damage done by individuals using the facility during the period of the rental. This includes paying for materials and/or staff time to repair damages. Destruction of park property, littering, and vandalism also are violations of Iowa Code and Buchanan County Ordinances, and individuals committing such acts may be cited or prosecuted, and their rental and park privileges revoked.
Cancellation Policy
RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Please understand that at the time of booking your reservation you immediately prohibit other people from reserving and using the facility. Therefore, should you choose to cancel a reservation, YOU WILL FORFEIT 100% OF ALL RESERVATION FEES PAID.
