Nature on the Big Screen Summer Camp - Week 5: Antarctic Biome

Beat the summer heat! Come explore Antarctic Biome, where animals survive extreme cold, wind, and ice. Students will learn about penguins, seals, and the science happening at the bottom of the world. Experiments explore insulation, ice formation, and polar adaptations. 

 

 

Ages:

5-9 years old

 

Date & Time: 

Check-in begins at 9:45 am

Program runs from 10 am-2 pm

 

Location:

Marina Casino Bay

207 W Marina Road

Storm Lake, IA 50588

 

What to Bring:

Water bottle

Sunscreen and bug spray (as needed)

 

Registration:  Camp is free, but registration is required

Register at mycountyparks.com by Tuesday, July 14th at 4 pm

Registration for the next camp opens the day of the previous camp
