Nature on the Big Screen Summer Camp - Week 7: Ocean Biome

Buena Vista County Conservation ends the Biome Exploration Series with a deep dive into the Ocean Biome. Participants will explore how marine animals survive in a world of waves, pressure, and saltwater. Hands‑on activities will highlight ocean layers, currents, and the incredible adaptations of sea creatures. 

 

Ages:

5-9 years old

 

Date & Time: 

Check-in begins at 9:45 am

Program runs from 10 am-12 pm

 

Location:

Marina Casino Bay

207 W Marina Road

Storm Lake, IA 50588

 

What to Bring:

Water bottle

Sunscreen and bug spray (as needed)

 

Registration:  Camp is free, but registration is required

Register at mycountyparks.com by Thursday, July 30th at 4 pm

Registration for the next camp opens the day of the previous camp
