Earth Week - Earth Day Walk, Clean-up and Birding

Event Summary

IT'S EARTH DAY!!! What better way to celebrate this day than with a walk at a wildlife management area? This area is one of Annette's favorites to explore. We will take a walk through prairie and woodland areas in search of all nature decides to offer us this day. Along the way, we will pick up any garbage we find to help leave the land better than we found it. Bring your binoculars is you would like. Merlins and owls are known to be seen in this area along with many others. 

No need to register. Just bring your family out for a walk on Earth Day! We will start the walk at 5:00 PM at the parking lot on Grand Avenue (not the parking lot on Hwy 3). This is just south of the Bristow sign on the gravel road.
