Raccoon River Wildlife Area and Rainbow Bend
Rainbow Bend and the Raccoon River Wildlife Area are adjacent to the Raccoon River. Rainbow Bend is 19 acres North of the river and is owned by the state but the County Conservation Board manages the park under contract. This area is home to a 3-arch bridge that is on the National Historic Landmark List. Located here is a boat ramp for river access, a couple vault toilets, and two camping sites.
