Schillings Sanctuary


Schillings Sanctuary spans 15 acres of ponds, trails, native prairie plants, and trees. Previously a gravel mining site, it is now under the ownership of Calhoun County and serves as a wildlife sanctuary, with the former pits transformed into habitats. The sanctuary attracts a diverse array of wildlife, making it a fantastic place to observe birds, mammals, frogs, and fish.
