Date is set for the 2026 Halloween Hike at Scharnberg Park!
Clay County Conservation Board is excited to host the annual Halloween Hike at Scharnberg Park on Saturday, October 10, 2026. The Hike will take place from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The park will be closed to all traffic at 5:00. The event is free to attend but we request that you bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to Upper Des Moines Food Pantry. Please be sure the expiration date is after January 1, 2027. Prizes will be awarded to the best decorated campsite. We look forward to seeing all the little ghosts, goblins, princesses and superheroes enjoying the event!
