Dive into the underground world, where twists, turns and hidden wonders wait in the dark. This adventure is for older children and adults, though I have had kids as young as 4 in the cave. If you have younger children, it is so pretty at the entrance of the cave, it is fun just to look around the pasture, if you are waiting for your family to finish touring.

You will get dirty! It is best to wear layers and old shoes/boots. I will be wearing knee pads, shorts, tank top, then pants and a long sleeve t-shirt, possibly gloves, bring flashlights, flip flops/slides/crocs and plastic bags... Then before I get in my vehicle, I take off my long sleeves and pants, then put on my flip flops so I do not get my vehicle seats dirty. You may want to throw your shoes away after this, depending on what all you do.

 We will meet at the Nature Center. When you get there, you will grab a helmet, make sure it fits and buckles. Then we will climb into cars and will go to a private cave. Depending on how many cars show up...we will either have you park in specific places on the edge of the driveway and some may have to park on the gravel road. If the farmer, Alan, is there, PLEASE say thank you and sometimes he wants to know where you are from. Also, please tell yourself and whoever is with you to be respectful and if there are things that you see that you're not used to seeing or smelling, keep it to yourself, it is a working farm. We will go by the house and we will be in a single file line to go up a hill that has very tall corn. We will need to keep everyone together without knocking down corn, it is their lively hood! Remember to Shut ALL GATES! Once we are on top of the hill and people are counted...we will descend a hill. Sidestepping is the best way to get down the hill. Once we are there, there will be an introduction to the cave. Just know that there will be some baby crawling and army crawling. Then you will be in a BIG room you can stand in and decide on what type of adventure you want!
