Winter Sowing Workshop: Pollinator Plants for Your Landscape

Event Summary

In this hands-on session, you will discover how native plants provide critical habitat for our local ecosystem.  Using recycled milk jugs as mini-greenhouses, you will learn a simple budget-friendly way to kickstart your garden in the dead of winter.  A naturalist from the Clinton County Conservation will share why local pollinators depend on native plants, and a certified Master Gardener will guide you step-by-step through the winter sowing process.

You will get to prepare your very own milk jug greenhouse with native prairie flower seed and a UV Garden Marker to start winter sowing at home!

Freewill Donations accepted, suggested $5.
