    Rental Contract Agreement

    1. The person responsible must be at least 18 years of age.
    2. No minors are to be left unattended.
    3. Please be courteous and notify the office if you are not going to use the campsite.
    4. If YOU decide to cancel, there is no refund. 
    5. Check in time is 3:00 PM. Check out time is 1:00 PM.
    6. Campers must restore the campsite to the same approximate condition as existed when they found it.
    7. Campers must register their campsite within 1/2 hour of arrival at the campground. Failure register within 1/2 hour of arrival may result in an additional $5.00 fee         being assessed.
    8. No camping party may occupy any campground for more than 14 consecutive days. The camping party must then vacate the campground for 7 days before returning to that campground.
    9. All campers must maintain quiet in campgrounds during the hours of 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
    10. Campers must remain in their respective campsites between the hours of 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM Only one vehicle per campsite.
    11. All Clinton County Conservation Board rules and regulations  and laws of the state of Iowa will be enforced.

    Cancellation Policy

    Please contact the Clinton County Conservation Board at 563-259-1876 as soon as possible if you need to cancel.

    SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL A RESERVATION, YOU WILL FORFEIT 100% OF ALL RESERVATION FEES PAID.

    Youth Group Rules

    Organized youth groups (scouts, 4H, church groups, etc) may receive a discounted rate by contacting the Clinton County Conservation Department before making an online reservation to confirm your eligibility. Phone the Clinton County Conservation Department at 563-259-1876 to confirm discount. If you choose to make a reservation without phoning first, you will pay full price.

    Refund Policy

    Please understand at the time of booking your reservation that you immediately prohibit other people from reserving & utilizing that facility - they therefore go elsewhere to locate a facility for that date. We will observe a NON-REFUNDABLE reservation fee policy with the following exceptions:

    • Accident, serious injury or death of an immediate family member
    • Travel conditions where a substantial risk is required in order to travel such as a winter storm where a travel advisory has been issued
    • We are unable to provide your facility (or like facility) in operable condition for the date of your event

    ALL cancellations or requests for refunds cannot be done online and must be made by calling the Conservation Office at (563)​259-1876.

    DATE CHANGES
    All date changes must be made by calling the Conservation Office at (563) 259-1876. Recognize that we must first administratively cancel your existing online reservation, and then create a second reservation for the new date. An Administrative Fee of $25 will be assessed to complete this transaction. Please consider this procedure prior to making your initial reservation.

    You are about to make a reservation for an ACCESSIBLE SITE. This campsite is marked with the international symbol of accessibility and is intended to be used by persons with accessibility needs. If no one in your party needs an accessible site, please select another site.

    This site is reservable for ADA use - Electric Site 50/30 amp. There is a hydrant available to fill your camper water tank, but cannot stay connected during your stay.

    This is a level, back-in gravel pad campsite. 

    Reservations can be made from 7 days to a year in advance. 

    Minimum stay is 2 days with a maximum of 14.

    If the site is not reserved, it is available on a first come, first served basis by scanning the QR code or self-registration with an envelope provided.

    Flush toilets and showers are centrally located in the park. There is also a dump station near the entrance to the park. Any questions please call 563-259-1876.


    Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 03:00 PM and check-out is before 02:00 PM.

      • $30/night payable by Visa or Mastercard. Sorry, but we are currently unable to accept Discover cards.
      • Weekends require a 2 night minimum stay
      • Holidays require a 3 night minimum stay

    Rock Creek is open year round.
    Visitor hours are 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM

    Shower house is open April 15 - October 15
