    Rental Contract Agreement

    1. The person responsible must be at least 18 years of age.
    2. No minors are to be left unattended.
    3. Please be courteous and notify the office if you are not going to use the campsite.
    4. If YOU decide to cancel, there is NO REFUND. A one time reschedule can be done up to 2 weeks prior to original stay.
    5. Check in time is 3:00 P.M. Check out time is 11:00 A.M.
    6. Campers must restore the campsite to the same approximate condition as existed when they found it.
    7. Campers must register their campsite within 1/2 hour of arrival at the campground. Failure to register within 1/2 hour of arrival may result in an additional $5.00 fee.
    8. No camping party may occupy any campground for more than 14 consecutive days.
    9. The camping party must then vacate the campground for 7 days before returning to that campground. 
    10. All campers must maintain quiet in campgrounds during the hours of 10:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.
    11. Campers must remain in their respective campsites between the hours of 10:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.
    12. All Clinton County Conservation Board rules and regulations (http://clintoncounty-ia.gov/SiteContent/Documents/File/Conservation/RULES%20AND%REGULATIONS%202009.pdf) and laws of the state of Iowa will be enforced.

    Cancellation Policy

    Please contact the Clinton County Conservation Board at 563-847-7202 as soon as possible if you need to cancel. 

    Should you choose to CANCEL a reservation, you will FORFEIT 100% of all reservation fees paid. 

    Refund Policy

    Please understand at the time of booking your reservation that you immediately prohibit other people from reserving & utilizing that facility - they therefore go elsewhere to locate a facility for that date. We will observe a NON-REFUNDABLE reservation fee policy with the following exceptions:

    • We will reschedule 1 time if the request is made 2 weeks prior to the original reservation.

    You are about to make a reservation for an ACCESSIBLE SITE. This campsite is marked with the international symbol of accessibility and is intended to be used by persons with accessibility needs. If no one in your party needs an accessible site, you will be required to register for a site in-person, day-of, on a first-come, first-serve basis.

    This site is located within close proximity of the public shower building and is reservable for ADA use- an ADA fire-ring and picnic table are available.

    This back-in site is a " X x X" gravel pad with 30/50 AMP electric and water hookups.

    This is the only reservable site at Sherman Park. The remaining 7 electric/water sites are available on a first-come, first-served, walk-in only basis.

    This reservation ensures your campsite will be available during the chosen dates. However, if upon arrival, a more desirable walk-in campsite is available, the orange reservation tag may be moved to an alternative site by informing the on-site campground host or park supervisor at 563-357-4134. Texts or voicemails are acceptable.

    This site may be reserved up to one year in advance and must be made at least 5 days in advance of the date of reservation.

    The occupancy limit is 14 consecutive days. If the site is not reserved, it will be available on a first come - first served basis until the day of a new reservation.

    There are NO REFUNDS due to cancelation. You may call the Clinton County Conservation Office at 563-847-7402 for a one time to reschedule dates of the original reservation up to 2 weeks prior to stay.

    Fees

    $30 per night reservable rate.

    Holiday weekends, (Memorial Day, Labor Day and Fourth of July if it falls on a Friday or Monday) requires 3 nights to reserve.

    Hours of Operation & Seasons

    • Reserved Camping is available April 15th thru October 15th only. The water will be shut off for the season approximately October 15th. Sites will remain open on a first come bases until April 15th.
    • Park Hours: 5:00 am to 10:30 pm
    • Camping check-in: 3 P.M.
    • Camping check-out: 11:00 A.M.
    • Campground quiet hours are 10:30 PM - 6:00 AM

    Closures

    USE OF CAMPGROUND IN "OFF-SEASON":

    • The campground may be opened prior to April 15th or closed after October 31 depending weather & ground conditions.
    • Water and modern restroom/shower facilities will be unavailable October 15 thru April 15 each season to prevent freezing.
