Freed Family Wildlife Area

Discover Freed Family Wildlife Area in Grundy Center

This 38-acre wildlife area provides a hunting area for small game animals with non-toxic shot, and bowhunting for deer by permit. Bordered on two sides by the Blackhawk Creek, and seeded with crops, native grasses, and flowers, this area also makes a great destination for birdwatching and hiking.
