Wolfe Family Preserve
Discover Wolfe Family Preserve in Grundy Center
This 19-acre tract of land was given as a gift to the residents of Grundy County. And what a gift it is! Mowed grass trails within the preserve offer visitors a chance to view the towering trees and diverse native plants. A crushed limestone trail leads past a man-made wetland and joins a shaded corridor of the Pioneer Trail. Hunting is not permitted in this day-use area, and those who seek to enjoy the sites here may have the opportunity to hear and see many types of wildlife that make this part of Iowa their home.
