Silkworm Secrets And Conservation Legacy Celebration

Event Summary
Come and join our celebration of Conservation and Earth Day by learning about the Secrets of the Silkworms. Guest Speaker Loretta Zue who raises silkworms for a hobby will present on how to raise silkworms and how luxurious silk is made. We will be in the Conservation Office for the presentation and outside afterwards for the rest of the program. Afterwards we will discuss the unique Iowa County Conservation Board System followed by a trash pick-up and end by the campfire as we enjoy a hot dog or smore. Feel free to bring a pair of gloves for the roadside trash pick up. We will provide some trash bags for the trash pick-up. We will have a campfire at the Outback Area that is located behind the Conservation Office for toasting marshmallows and hot dogs. We have a 60 person limit for this program.
